Eddie "Boo Boo" Melson
Eddie “Boo Boo” Melson, 74 years old, passed away on October 28, 2025. He was born on August 4, 1951 in Savannah, Tennessee to Lillian Holt Melson and Edd “Revious” Melson. He worked Courthouse Security as a Deputy Sheriff for the Livingston Parish Sheriff Office. He owned Eddie Melson Equipment LLC and was a truck driver for many years before returning back to Livingston Parish. He was the president of the Blue Knights LA IX Club. Eddie has transferred to Heaven 1.
Randy Miller
Captain Randy Miller, at the age 64, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025. A devoted resident of Hammond, Louisiana, Randy dedicated his life to the service of his community, proudly serving for 36½ years as a Hammond Police Officer. During his distinguished career, Randy helped establish the Hammond Police Department’s Honor Guard and took great pride in mentoring younger officers. He was the Secretary of the Blue Knights LA IX Club Randy has transferred to Heaven 1.

Ronald Curtis Harper age 70, passed away at his home of 19461 Old Covington Hwy in Hammond Louisiana on Sunday, October 29, 2023. He was the owner of Harper’s TV and appliance in Ponchatoula Louisiana for over 50 years. He served as a lieutenant with Ponchatoula Police Department and Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s office Ronald has transferred to Heaven 1.
Larry Dendy
A resident of Franklinton passed away Sunday morning September 24, 2023, at his residence. He worked as a police officer for the Jefferson Parish Police department. He enjoyed time at his camp on the bayou and also in Mississippi. He enjoyed hunting. He loved to porch sit. His most enjoyment came from spending time with his grandchildren and just being outdoors. Larry has transferred to Heaven 1.
